Herbafruct is an emerging micro-cluster in the cultivation, processing, and commercialization of medicinal, aromatic, and oil plants, located in Nisporeni, Strășeni, Hâncești, and Ungheni. Officially founded on October 17, 2023, it includes 37 public and private entities and is supported by the Switzerland-UNDP project 'Resilient and Inclusive Markets in Moldova.' The cluster is led by a President, a board of directors, and a management entity.
The 'Herbafruct' micro-cluster specializes in the production, processing, and commercialization (both wholesale and retail) of medicinal, aromatic, and oil plants, as well as derived products such as essential oils, infusions, juices, and plant blends.
